It's the very first thing I check when I’m contacted by a new client, reading carefully (meaning with a pinch of salt) all comments (positive and negative). I also check elsewhere (LinkedIn, Payment Practices, TC, etc.).

Definitely yes, this is the first thing I do when a new client contacts me. Also, I take it seriously. I don't work with clients who have negative reviews. I feel that working with them will be kind of a "risk".
