Los dos fueron precisamente quienes se disputaron el cargo de seleccionador tras la dimisión de Gao Hongbo. Aunque fue Manzano el que primero recibió la llamada de la Federación China de Fútbol (CFA), una vez que declinó la misma la CFA acudió a Lippi. Una trayectoria que le ha valido incluso el reconocimiento a principios de esta misma semana del ‘Diario del Pueblo’ por su trabajo a la hora de tratar de impregnar la cultura futbolística en la sociedad china. Manzano revela que “he intentado enseñar a jugar bien a mis equipos a través de una metodología de entrenamientos del nivel español. En gran parte lo hemos conseguido. Tianqi Zhang has a degree in Hispanic Philology
from the Beijing Language and Cultural University (2009-2013).
Subsequently, she specialized as a translator and interpreter after
completing the Official Master's Degree in Translation, Interpreting and
Intercultural Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona
(2014-2016). Additionally, she obtained the title of Doctor in
Translation and Interpretation from the same university in 2022.
During
the period between 2014 and 2016, she played the role of correspondent
for the Chinese media outlet Tencent, covering La Liga and Chinese Super
League matches. As a sports journalist, she also reported from the 2014
(Brazil) and 2018 (Russia) World Cups. The results and achievements
obtained during this stage are reflected in her doctoral thesis entitled
"Development and analysis of a specialized Spanish-Chinese glossary of
the rules of the football game" (http://hdl.handle.net/10803/674971),
which was presented at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
As
of 2019, Tianqi Zhang has dedicated herself to teaching in the field of
Translation and Interpreting. She teaches as part of the Official
Master's Degree in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies,
teaching classes on Documentation Tools and Terminology at the
Department of Translation and Interpreting of the Autonomous University
of Barcelona. She also contributes to the Degree in Translation and
Interpreting, teaching about Translation Technologies in the Department
of Translation and Language Science of the Pompeu Fabra University.
Since
2016, Tianqi Zhang has worked as a freelance translator and interpreter
in the Spanish/Catalan/English > Mandarin Chinese language
combination. Her years of experience in simultaneous interpretation has
allowed her to participate in various meetings, offering interpretation
services for prominent personalities in the sports, political,
industrial and business fields. She teaches the subject of Note-Taking
and Resources for Interpretation in the Master's Degree in
Business-Oriented Conference Interpretation at the University of Alcalá.
