MEDICAL AND CHEMISTRY DEGREES + 64 YEARS OF COMBINED TRANSLATION EXPERIENCE
Experience, expertise, and quality are the hallmarks of our translation team, comprised of two linguists working together at one rate. With a combined 64 years of experience in translation and degrees in medicine and chemistry, we guarantee a professional and accurate translation.
Our credentials speak for themselves – Folke holds a medical degree and a B.Sc. in chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular genetics, and has been working as a translator for 27 years. Karin, on the other hand, boasts the longest translation experience of 37 years and has a B.A./B.Sc. degree in French, chemistry and biochemistry, and Ph.D. studies in both French and molecular biology.
Our expertise covers a wide range of areas, with a primary focus on medicine and pharmaceutics, biochemistry, patents, popular science, and tourism. However, we do know our strengths and limitations and do not take on legal, economic, or financial translations.
Our recent major assignments include the translation of around 80 short books for school-age children – non-fiction books on various subjects, and some fiction.
Additionally, we have a wealth of experience writing original content, such as science textbooks for major publishers Bonnier Utbildning and Liber Utbildning, popular science articles for magazines and newspapers, and daily newspaper notices/articles about various historical anniversaries.
