I think power has so many meanings depending on each case. Ȩ�� is more suitable here.

: It does not seem like she she talking about Ȩ��. Ȩ�� is entitled when one is holding an office position or being a citizen, etc. It would be from external.

In consideration of the other words this asker has posted, I think what is referred to by the word “power” in this sentence is the mental and physical energies within a person that the Chinese word “精力” means exactly.
I agree with Kevin's comment that it doesn't have much to do with “权力” which means overwhelming power.

By reading the three postings by angie with very limited context, I would like to throw my 2 cents in, just in case angie is not confused enough by all the suggestions above. They are definately brain teasers.
I think if it is a "power within" someone, that whould be a will power, that is "毅力".
