如果这个问题也是关于扫描器的，那么 aperture 可能就不是指光圈，而是被扫描图像的入口。这里谈的好象不是平台式扫描器，而是卷入式的。因为平台式扫描器如果落入灰尘，那一定是落在玻璃面板上，不可能不被镜头看见。
此外， focus 似乎不能译为焦点，而应译为“聚焦面”或“聚焦范围”。焦点是几何概念，运用到光学上，是指光线通过镜头后汇聚到的一个点。光线通过焦点后，在散开达到成像面。如果成像面与聚焦面重合或足够接近，则图像清晰，否则图像就模糊。理论上讲，焦点是一个没有大小的抽象的点，是不可能落上灰尘的。假如一粒灰尘正好落在焦点处，那整个图像就会是一片漆黑。

回答完 Open Scan Aperture 的问题后再看这个问题，“扫描图像入口”的译法不正确。这里的 Open Aperture 与 Open Scan Aperture 应该是同一个东西，不是图像卷入的开口，而是镜头摄取图像的狭长形开口，所以应建议此不会落上灰尘。这种设计的扫描器的镜头是静止的，而图像是运动的，被卷入后通过窄隙逐行扫描。
