I have been a professional translator since 2005. I took the specialty of literary translation in my university study, however, I started my career as a translator in the field of international trade, law, and finance, which provided me opportunities to sharpen my translation skills for marketing, legal and financial documents. More than ten years' professional experience facilitated me the proficiency of processing these types of documents. Starting from January 2011, I worked in a program providing translation services to new immigrants in Edmonton. This position exposes me to a wider range of general documents which are essential for settlement needs. My Master's Degree of Arts in Communication and Technology (with Specialty of Intercultural Communication) equips me with the most advanced skills to deal with intercultural communication and interpersonal communication.

Until now, I have ten years of experience as a professional translator and interpreter. I have worked with several international translation companies on the translation of financial and legal translation projects. I also develop proficient skills in the field of subtitling and localization. I have experience of utilizing CAT tool, and my computer skills facilitate me the ability to handle different translation platforms. I have access to Adobe Creative Suite, so I am also able to deal with DTP requests (Desktop Publishing) and translation for other print designs.

I also provide interpretation services as a community interpreter and a court interpreter. I have five years of interpreting in legal and medical settings.
