翻译文本 - English英语 Of course I was born and raised in China but, as China is extremely large, there are countless types of Chinese food. So, every Chinese person has their own definition of “Chinese food”. Let’s just take a traditional Chinese snack for example. During the New Year, in some places people eat stuffed dumplings, some eat rice dumplings, some eat New Year’s rice cakes and still others eat poultry and fish. Even for the same dish, different places have various ways of cooking. Even prior to writing this, some of my online friends had a very heated discussion over the topic “Should you have sweet or salty tofu?” As for local cuisine, the possibilities are endless. I come from Southwest China and my husband comes from Beijing. When we make home cooked meals, even our meals often include food neither of us has eaten before.

Hello! My name is Tiffany and I would love to be your translator! For just a brief introduction to me, some of my hobbies include reading, writing stories and poetry, drawing, listening to music, watching films and series and, of course, learning about languages and cultures. In regards to Chinese, I started learning Chinese in high school where I studied for 3 years. I then started again in college in 2012 at the University of Michigan and have continued ever since. I have learned much about Chinese culture and language from various language partners from Chinese PH.D students to visiting scholars.
Professionally, I received my Bachelor's in International Studies and Asian Studies in 2016 from the University of Michigan. I have been studying Chinese in total of 8 years and counting. I completed the renown Middlebury Summer Chinese Language Program in August 2018 where I intensively studied for 8 weeks under oath of a language pledge to advance my grasp over Chinese language and culture. I completed one year of study from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies where I majored in Translation, Localization and Project Management (TLM). I am currently a full-time law student at Detroit Mercy Law.
Currently, I have translated presentations for non-profits organization in my local community, blog articles, essays, instruction guides, e-mails, bank statements and blog articles and proofread and edited essays of those who do not speak English as a first language. I would love to continue my work as a translator. I hope to get more experience to perform legal translation and subtitling services.
Reasons that you should choose me as a translator are:
1. Accurate and prompt translation.
2. Great communication and attention to detail.
3. Adhere to client confidentiality requests.
Please feel free to contact me via e-mail at [email protected] for any inquiries about business! I look forward to working with you!
