Proposal is to use bowl feeder to ensure feeding of the silicon pads in the good orientation.
Bowl feeder need to be autonomous during at least 1h of production (around 1500 pads) and to warn operators about level of pads inside.
Mandatory cycle time for this station is to be at maximum 6s for 2 pads and 8s for 3 pads without variability for full cycle.
Deposit must be very accurate because there is very little play between pads and reflector cavities.
Control of the good pads insertion have to be done by 100% camera checking.

New Misbuild process
Please note that a new process called "Misbuild" has been implemented, coordinated with the Outbound Logistics Department, which brings reports of non-compliant or incorrect configurations on delivered vehicles in line with those of non-compliance.
The aim is to streamline and speed up the vehicle approval procedures from the Dealer to the end customer and define a single information channel towards the Factory.
As outlined in the update to Chapter 2.1.1 of the Aftersales Manual, when Dealers receive a vehicle with specifications which do not comply with the expected ones, they must first check with their own Sales Department which configuration has been ordered on the system and then open an ROL with the description"Info on misbuild".
The report will be transmitted internally to the departments concerned so that the problem can be dealt with immediately and correctly and prompt correct measures can be taken to improve the quality of the finished product.
