Native Russian speaker with near-native fluency in Canadian French, also fluent in English and Mandarin, I have been living, working and studying in bilingual Montréal (Quebec, Canada) for more than 15 years.
I have been in translation and interpreting for more than 20 years, in various ways - either doing freelance work or as part of my full-time work.
In translation and interpreting, I am currently specializing in and have relevant experience - both as a professional and an interpreter - in International Business, Manufacturing and Marketing, as well as in Social Sciences and Humanities, Social Services, and Gender Based Violence.
I have obtained a Master's degree with a major in Linguistics from Moscow State Lomonossov University, later adding to that undergraduate certificates in management and in law from Canadian Universities. In addition to that, I have completed PhD coursework in social sciences at Canada's Université de Montréal, and for the past few years I have been working in social sciences field, specializing in social and socio-legal topics, including in translation and interpreting.
