This setting controls the duration of time (in seconds) which a customer answering a call must speak before it is determined to be an answering machine if no agent is available to take the call. Common answers of a live person are "Hello?", and "Hi this is [name]." Making this duration value long enough to account for calls answered like, "Thank you for calling [XYZ] Incorporated. How may I direct your call?", should be balanced against the possibility of short answering machine messages like, "This is Mike - leave a message". Making this setting lower than Machine Minimum with Agent could reduce the possibility of abandonment.

China Leads Major Countries with $34.6 Billion Invested in Clean Technology
China, Brazil and other developing countries are pouring billions of dollars into efforts to reduce carbon emissions and build up renewable energy markets, a trend that some experts say has turned the traditional climate change debate on its head.
A growing body of studies detail the government subsidies, regulatory policies and private investments that have sent money flowing into the clean energy sectors of some of the leading developing countries. The most recent report, out today from the Pew Environment Group, finds that China for the first time now leads the United States and all other major countries in green energy markets. Its private investments of $34.6 billion in 2009 alone are almost double America's.
Advocates of U.S. climate change legislation say the foreign buildup is a sign that America is falling behind in a global clean energy race. But many also feel it has blunted some of the sharpest demands from both rich and poor nations in the climate fight -- specifically developing countries' insistence that the West pay for any shift to low-carbon energy economies.
The Ancient Recipe Liquor is developed according to the "Jun-Chen-Zuo-Shi" theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It minimizes the hazard of liquor to human body by regulating the spicy, extremely hot and toxic attributes of liquor. This is achieved by adding Jun (emperor) herbs that treat the primary symptoms, Chen (minister) herbs that augment the effects of Jun herbs, Zuo (assistant) herbs that counteract side effects of these herbs, and Shi (courier) herbs that guide the prescription to target organs and ensure its absorption by the human body.
A competitive magnet-based genetic algorithm for solving the resource-constrained project scheduling problem General field: 技术/工程设计 Detailed field: 电脑（总称）
This paper presents a genetic algorithm for solving the resource-constrained project scheduling problem. The innovative component of the algorithm is the use of a magnet-based crossover operator that can preserve up to two contiguous parts from the receiver and one contiguous part from the donator genotype. For this purpose, a number of genes in the receiver genotype absorb one another to have the same order and contiguity they have in the donator genotype. The ability of maintaining up to three contiguous parts from two parents distinguishes this crossover operator from the powerful and famous two-point cross over operator, which can maintain only two contiguous parts, both from the same parent. Comparing the performance of the new procedure with that of other procedures indicates its effectiveness and competence.

GA-MBX, as a genetic algorithm, starts with a pool of genotypes. In line with the representation used in Hartmann (2002), each genotype is composed of an activity list followed by two extra binary genes. The first binary gene indicates whether the serial or parallel schedule generation scheme should be used in the decoding of the genotype, and the second gene determines whether the decoding should be performed in the forwards or backward direction.
After the genotypes has been initially decoded, based on the value of the second binary gene, the decoder further applies one iteration of the forward backward or backward forward improvement (Tormos and Lova, 2001) to the initial solution. If the second binary gene has forced the solution to be generated in the forward direction, then this improvement is made in the backward forward direction and otherwise it is made in the reverse direction.

Translate to Increase Revenue: Speaking Your Customer's Voice
In the modern business world, the concept and function of translation need to be redefined. Translation is a process through which your products/services are communicated to your customers. To achieve this goal, translators should be able to write in a way that fully engage your customers, rather than translate the source text literally based on the source text.
If translation cannot help you gain and retain customers, then it is completely useless.
Translation Related Services
I provide professional, punctual and quality translation/editing/proofreading services in technical, marketing, legal and financial related fields.
For different types of materials, different translation skills are employed, all for one purpose: help you deliver the right message to the right audience.
Technical Writing
I am also a good technical writer, with five years experience in technical writing in the telecom industry.
Consulting: Every company faces the challenge of finding a translation solution that works efficiently on the company level. If you care about translation, and is looking out for the best solution that suits your company, my expertise and past experience would certainly help!
