If you're not building your own computer Jun 24, 2023

you can be pretty sure that what's on offer will have the best processor for the price range, but not enough RAM. So adding RAM to the max and possibly putting an SSD instead of the HDD will make a significant difference.
Also using a big TV screen as monitor makes life easier. Once you get used to it, even 32" looks puny.

This suggests that you may need to visit an optician. You shouldn't need to strain your eyes.

I used a 49" screen for a couple of years, mounted some distance away. I liked it, but would be too large (physically) for the space in which I have my current desk, and too close to my eyes even if I could mount it on the desk.
