I’ve no significant other. I’m a widow (twice) and they had the same native language as me. My first husband (an Air Force pilot) spoke fluently English, French and Dutch. The second (an advertising executive) spoke English, French and Italian quite well.

No current SO, but I am a native speaker of English and both my husbands were native speakers of Portuguese. With my second husband, we spoke Portuguese exclusively at home. We started off married life in Mexico, so we both spoke Spanish outside the home.
