Hi, I have a Transit NXT project including a Termstar dictionary. The dictionary includes only the source terms, and I need to enter the translations of these terms in the dictionary. I have language pairs that include all necessary translations. Which is the smartest method to enter the target terms into the dictionary? I cannot / do not want to use the "rapid entry"-mode, since this will lead to double entries in the dictionary. The only way ... The only way I know of is going into the dictionary and editing the entries by right-clicking (and then writing the target terms into the dictionary). In both XV and NXT, we use a very useful, time saving macro: (after manually highlighting both target and then source terms, press the selected macro short cut, and the macro does the following steps:) - Enters the selected terms (in NXT Terminology | Creation | Insert selected, in XV Edit | Transfer marked terms to Dictionary), - Sets the cursor back in the target editor window, so that one can con... This macro helps a lot and makes entering terms very fast and easy.
