All of the above!! | | |
As well as all the above, quantities of fluff - enough to knit half a cardigan. Best way of extracting it is half a bent paperclip, gently pulled along all the grooves. Jenny "aka La Tricoteuse". | | | DianaMoore 巴拿马 Local time: 08:20 English英语译成Spanish西班牙语 + ... M&M and Frosties | Sep 2, 2007 |
I have found pieces of M&Ms and Frosties on the PC keyboard (kids). Just fluff on the laptop. Jenny, I don't want you walking around with 1/2 cardigan this winter. So, if you need more fluff just ask.

A small gold earring | Sep 2, 2007 |
And it is still there, because I would not dare to open my beloved keyboard. Therefore, everyday I shake it face-down and move the little piece of gold below the spacebar so it will not interfere with my work. | | | Not dead insects, but living ants | Sep 2, 2007 |
I've had an ant invasion during these rainy days... and I've just found them carrying away the crumbs from my keyboard. So they proved very useful in the end!

Back at school, on computer classes (it were times of Windows 3.1) I learned only one thing: NEVER eat or drink at a computer station. So whenever I eat or drink something, I always keep it far from my keyboard (especially since I have a laptop now and spoiling something on it may even kill the whole machine). The only cleaning I do is dust cleaning - although not really needed, as there is not time for dust to sit on... See more
Is anybody that "rough and tough" with his or her keyboard? I mean, how strongly do you type? Ouch! I'm like M. Anna, I hate getting close to the keyboard with food or drinks. Not that I'm a camel or anything, I do drink -and eat, but I keep those on a little table next to my desk, and I use my wheeled chair (not wheel chair) in order to satisfy my hunger or thirst. Anyway, I never eat anything sticky or that may fall into crumbs if I'm at the desk. It's more likely to be an apple or sth similar. If I want any kind of junk food, I go to the kitchen and wash my hands afterwards (I'm a bit of a freak, I know). It helps setting limits to this junk eating also. ▲ Collapse

If none of these methods works to get rid of the garbage, I take out some keys and clean the surrounding areas. So far, my keyboard continues working without any problems. ▲ Collapse | | | Mark Nathan 法国 Local time: 15:20 正式会员 (自2002) French法语译成English英语 + ...
