Automatic assembled hit insertion

Hi, guys.
Did anyone face the problem when automatic assembled hit insertion stopped wotking?

Translations --> Automatic lookup and insertion --> 3. Insert fragment assembled hit CHECKED.

But it is still dead.


Any suggestions?

Minimum coverage? Sep 14, 2014

You might want to play with the percentage in "Minimum coverage" right under the checkbox. A high percentage means that you will get less fragment-assembled segments. I reckon you should reduce the percentage and try again.

I hope this helps a bit!

minimum coverage - no help Sep 14, 2014

Thanks for reply. minimum covereage helped to get at least assembled hit in translation results panel, but still no insertion.

I'll finish my project and try to reinstall. Hope that would help. If no - then majour surgery - Windows reinstall:))

Do you have "Automatically insert best results after confirming segments" enabled? Also, have you tried changing the percentage in "Insert best TM or corpus hit"? I think they have an influence in the insertion of fragment-assembled translations.

auto insert best result after confirm - check
auto proceed - check

insert best TM or corpus - check 50%
include TM plugins - check

insert machine transl hits - check
insert if no suitable TM hit - check

insert fragment assembled hit - check
insert hit is no suitable TM hit - check 30%

copy source to tragert - uncheck



Advanced lookup settings --> Fragment assembly setting... See more
Auto scan - check
auto insert best result after confirm - check
auto proceed - check

insert best TM or corpus - check 50%
include TM plugins - check

insert machine transl hits - check
insert if no suitable TM hit - check

insert fragment assembled hit - check
insert hit is no suitable TM hit - check 30%

copy source to tragert - uncheck

Suggest only --> Matches with a coverage of at least 30%

Delete source - uncheck.

Before you spent any time dismantling the computer... wouln't it make sense to email Kilgray's support about this? They might have a simple yet effective answer about it.

I guess they'll just give me an addvise to reinstall MemoQ. But I already did.
I think I might break some settings somewhere deep.
Anyway I need to reinstall Windows, so I guess clean MemoQ install will solve the problem.
