Hi there!

I am new in the forums, I would like to know if there is a database of book translations available from some source.

Like for example, given this ISBN there are a certain amount of known translations/variants.

Thanks in advance!

UNESCO's Index Translationum Mar 25, 2013

http://portal.unesco.org/culture/en/ev.php-URL_ID=7810&URL_DO=DO_TOPIC&URL_SECTION=201.html

The Index Translationum is a list of books translated in the world, i.e. an international bibliography of translations. The Index Translationum was created in 1932.

The database contains cumulative bibliographical information on books translated and published in about one hundred of the UNESCO Member States since 1979 and totals more than 2.000.000 entries in all disciplines: literature, social and human sciences, natural and exact sciences, art, history and so forth. The database is updated regularly.

Be advised that it's far from a complete list, but it is a start.

I'm not sure I understand your question re: ISBNs. Each ISBN is unique to a particular edition of a book. Even the hardback and paperback versions of the same book in the same language will have different ISBNs.
