What happened to Aquarius?

Does somebody remember Aquarius? I know that Riccardo Olivi, who's a member of Proz.com, is also registered on Aquarius. Is that still active? Why does the website still exist if it seems that it isn't maintained anymore?

Many years ago, I received a gift of membership from one of its founders. I have just tried to log in with my old credentials. The site let me in, but there was no intelligent life inside. All recently registered users are bots, there are no open projects, and my profile was last visited by humans 9 years ago.

I don't know when my profile was visited for the last time, but all the other remarks you make fit my experience.
What astonishes me is that, given the situation in which it is, it still exists.
