将其因违背任何或有默示保证引起的责任，明确限制为对本手册加以更换。
我想，这些责任陈述写得这么晦涩、绕口，就是成心让入看不懂，或没有耐心看下去。
所谓“或有默示保证”，就是可能在行文中不经意暗含了某种保证。这种从字缝里找出来的“保证”，可能成为法律争议的事由。这段文字就是要防止这种情况发生。意思说白了就是：即使你从字缝里找出这种所谓的保证，我们也不承当任何责任。如果我们的行为与这些“保证”有冲突，那么我们的责任不是改正我们的行为或作出赔偿，而是把那段含混的文字改掉而已。
当然，这种避免法律责任的做法有一定的限度，因为法律明确规定的商家的义务，无论如何都必需履行。所以，前面要加上“在法律允许的限度之内”这样的前提。

這句話之所以被認為晦澀、繞口是因為 implied warranty 這個英美法上的專門術語被拆寫為 warranty that may be implied...在英美法中, implied warranty 就是 a warranty implied by law. Black's Law Dictionary: Implied warranty exists when the law derives it by implication or inference from the nature of the transaction or the relative situation or circumstances of the parties. 其概念接近於“法律推定的擔保﹝保證﹞”。不過在翻譯 implied 這個字時，卻不能譯作“推定”，只能譯作“默示”，因為這牽涉到法律制度的差異。
