I would have completely forgotten that song "在一起", if it wasn't for your link that jogged my memory. I must say they have a different way of interpreting the song compared to way back when - I nearly missed recognizing the tune entirely

The big sister is 6.5 years old. Definitely not a baby anymore. Arguing with me all the time.
We have not got many pics for the twins, even less for the big sister- BTW, we call her Niu(1)Niu(1). (Sorry no Chinese input on this computer).
And, she lost both of her upper front teeth recently, so is now really Gou(3) Dou(4) Da(4) Kai(1) when she smiles. I bet she wouldn't like to be shown off this way.
BTW, Zhiqin, you daughter looks really sweet.

什么都要讲公平，大人是一点权威也没有的。 有的时候想，怎么这孩子一下窜这么大了。好像比较有成就感。:)

是啊，没有权威。
我妈老问我，你女儿（老大）怎么敢动不动就跟你生气？我想想也郁闷啊，小时候从来不敢惹父母，现在女儿我也压不下去，我怎么就这么不威严？
还有啊，成就感不只是“好像比较有”吧，我可觉得是相当的大。有时夜里看女儿摊手摊脚睡那么大一片地方，那成就感可是满涨满涨的，啥也比不上啊。

Thank you very much! The Bakers Kawai Piano Competition is a local competition of amateurs from Denver and Boulder areas, but some of the contestants, who have already competed in some nation-wide competitions, are quite seasoned and highly skilled. Helen’s piano teacher encouraged her to enter this competition just to get some experiences. Of course, the teacher is very pleased with the outcome.
This is the first time Helen has ever taken part in a piano competition. So, she was a little nervous during the competition. This accomplishment gives her a lot of confidence and encouragement. She just turned eight last month and is the youngest among the winners. Her feet could barely reach the piano pedals. During the competition, she had to use a pedal extender, but during the Honor Recital, the pedal extender was not available. Therefore, she had to sit very closely to the piano and played in a very awkward position, but the audience seemed to like her performance very much. I am very proud of her!
Also, thank you for the links you provided. I could feel that you have a particular interest in piano and music probably because of the influence from your mother who was a distinguished piano professor of the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in China. I am going to buy the DVD of the Thirteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition as a gift to my little princess.
